Job Summary

Position will write annual Condition Assessment reports for each tank maintenance assets under contract. This position will perform the physical/technical assessments of each tank maintenance asset under contract and make decisions and recommendations as necessary to assure physical asset management obligations of agreements are being met. Develop service requests with cost budget for each project for all service offerings.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate annual field inspection reports addressing the physical condition of each tank asset under contract.
  • Determine repair work, and recommend paint work, necessary to assure organization complies with obligations set forth in MP agreement.Work closely with Customer Service Department to help drive answers/solutions to customer inquiries or problems related to annual Condition Assessment report.
  • Work closely with Service Center Managers and with Inspectors to further investigate tank conditions so that accurate assessments and recommendations can be made.
  • Write final annual Condition Assessment Reports for customer review for each MP asset under contract. (Including GASB and Renovation Reports)
  • Assign and modify as necessary specifications and cost budgets for all paint and repair work performed by Service Centers.
  • Review ‘as sold’ documentation and contracts for New Booked Sales projects, Negotiated Sales, and Maintenance Programs in regions to assure work sold is specified and assigned to service centers per terms of agreement.
  • Process change order requests issued by Inspectors, including obtaining technical opinions from others, and writing specs and assigning cost budgets.
  • Perform post job audits and report on any discrepancies as needed.
  • Follow all Internal Control processes

Education & Experience Requirements

  • High School (if experience is 5+ years)
  • College Degree preferred.
  • AA (if experience 2-5 years)
  • BA degree with no experience
  • Visiting a job site
  • Participating in Safety Training
  • Attending NACE Level 1 course
  • Effective Communication Skills
  • Decision Making Skills
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Technical Writing Skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess issues through conversation and proactively convey solutions.
  • Empathy for others including external and internal customers, colleagues.
