Job Summary

The Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the development and execution of impactful multi-channel marketing programs for all USG lines of business. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Manager for Growth to join our team. This role requires a deep understanding of the business, customers, and overall market landscape with a focus on increasing awareness, engagement, and acquisition for our services. driving our company’s growth strategy by developing and executing effective marketing campaigns, identifying new market opportunities, and maximizing customer acquisition and retention efforts through innovative and data-driven strategies across various digital channels, including paid search, social media, display advertising, and search engine optimization (SEO).

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy focused on driving growth.
  • This includes setting clear goals, identifying target markets, aligning priorities, and determining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.

Campaign Management:

  • Plan, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate leads, increase brand awareness, and drive customer acquisition.
  • This includes overseeing content creation, digital advertising, email marketing, social media, SEO, and other relevant channels.
  • Oversee ad development, testing, and analysis for performance optimization.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to develop effective marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Continually test and refine marketing tactics, keeping abreast of the latest digital marketing trends, and exploring new channels for user acquisition and growth.

Customer Acquisition and Retention:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Utilize various techniques such as targeting, segmentation,personalization, and lifecycle marketing to optimize customer acquisitionand retention efforts.
  • Continuously learn about the markets and clients we serve, competitive landscape, key influences on the business and customer requirements.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze marketing campaign performance using relevant analytics tools.
  • Provide regular reports on key metrics, including lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and return on investment (ROI). Use data to identify areas of improvement to assist our senior Leadership Team (SLT) to make data-driven decisions.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, product development, and customer support, to align marketing initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships and effectively communicate marketing strategies and results to stakeholders.
  • Providing guidance, feedback, and support. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of in-house corporate marketing. Successful track records in B2B services marketing.
  • Understanding of the municipal water market is preferred and ability to work closely with various teams across USG.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Proficient in using marketing analytics tools to measure campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and staying updated with industry trends.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) required
